Placing a video call is a lot like placing a telephone call. After you connect, you see the other person in colour on a TV screen. You are able to transfer files or collaborate via options such as document sharing or through an Interactive whiteboard.

Creating A Balance
We would like to help create a balance in schools. On the one hand children need to take field trips to broaden their horizons by experiencing them in person.
However, if there ever was a need to visit NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), in America, what happens then?
It would be expensive to fly there with 30 or so children.
What if a school needed a foreign language teacher but did not have the means to recruit one, what could be done? Video Conferencing would be a solution that could help with these types of situations. In cases where travel my not be the preferred option, we can connect schools together to make free “video” calls over the internet to far and distant places in order to enhance the teaching experience. Lessons could be delivered to more than one school by specialist teachers. These lessons could be recorded and reviewed again. If a number of schools shared this resource, more savings can be made overall.
Some students host live video conferencing sessions with primary school pupils to help them overcome their fears of starting secondary school.
